How to Draw & Engrave Scottish Scrolls

I am beyond excited to teach you how to draw your own scrolls and learn the cuts involved in this style of engraving that is efficient and impactful. At the end of this course you will feel confident to draw your own designs and cut them on whatever item you have in front of you. And I promise you, you do not have to be an artist to draw these! I will show you a method that will allow anyone to be successful. We will also learn how to sharpen our gravers because without sharp tools we can’t do quality work!

ESTIMATE INITIAL INVESTMENT COSTS FOR TOOLS & MATERIAL
We understand that deciding to invest in learning a trade takes thought and planning. As always better tools make the learning curve less steep however you can start small and add tools as you go. Lastly a lot of tools used in one course can be used in another of the same trade.
Below are the top tools I would prioritize in purchasing for this course. I fully understand that engraving equipment is an investment but I can assure you that all my euipment has held up to over a decade of work, only having to replace gravers as I wear them down. This list I chose the more economical options of equipment than I have in instances but they still work great!

I really enjoy the way Nevada breaks down the scrollwork into smaller, more manageable pieces. I went into the class overwhelmed at the thought of drawing scrolls for engraving, and after a few quick lessons, I felt more confident in my ability to lay out designs on my own.
