Scott Gore

Scott and his wife Robyn live in central Kansas, where you will find some of the most beautiful sunsets and some fierce wind. Being a full time braider Scott spends a lot of his time in the workshop creating gear for working cowboys and collectors, everything from Reatas, Reins, Bosals, and Quirts, to braided jewelry.

When not in the shop Scott enjoys spending quality time with his wife. Together they ride horses, rope and brand, play with their dogs, fly fish, hike, and travel. When it’s time to come in for the night they can be found working side by side in the kitchen, where there is nothing better than a home cooked meal. And don’t forget the desserts! If there is one thing in life Scott knows for certain it’s that every piece of cake you don’t eat is one you don’t get.

Scott was selected to attend the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association Emerging Artists Contest in both 2014 and 2016, and has been mentored by some of the best braiders in the world today. Scott is passionate about education and keeping handmade craftsmanship alive.
